Barrier Reef Bed and Breakfast : Kewarra Beach is the only one of the Cairns Northern Beaches which is protected from the prevailing South East winds by a promontory called Taylors Point. The bay formed by Taylors Point is Cook Bay (see the map on the right above).
Unlike the other beaches which are exposed to the winds for most of the year, Kewarra Beach remains relatively calm and protected.
